Kinship

Found materials from a storied property was one of the key elements in much of the art we included in this first multi-family residence at Camp North End. Privy to the carefully collected detritus from this historic industrial site, we were able to give new ‘Art’  life to a foosball table, a bowl full of scrap metal, and discarded windows. All of these pieces have been salvaged and stored since development began onsite back in 2017.

Each piece showcased a part of the Kinship vision and values. Some focused on new art techniques, others turned site materials in to art and others even revisioned art that had previously been used for other purposes throughout Camp North End. Just like the property itself, the art showcases how a marriage of the old and new can be playful, beautiful and surprising.
