Lowe's Fiber Art

Designing a three story interior art feature for a series of corporate floors in the newest highrise was not a task we took lightly. Kat's playful and colorful oversized fiber art was the perfect application for the light and airy open stairwell at the top of the building.

This project was another engineering challenge as we attempted to design multistory fiber pieces that would hang multiple stories. The need for the pieces to not stretch over time was crucial, along with adhering to fire protection codes.

The final piece is a connected installation that gives the illusion that it is cutting through multiple floors and ceiling to create one connected 3 story piece. It is experienced in new ways as you travel down the staircase and see it emerge as you go.
